Now, Voyager

Cutting Edge Theatre is delighted to finally announce that we have been given the rights to the 1940’s novel “Now, Voyager” by Olive Higgins Prouty. This is also a classic film with Bette Davis and Paul Henreid. During lockdown, Suzanne wrote the initial script and is working with our long term collaborator – Ian Hammond Brown as Composer/lyricist.

We have just completed a one week’s development of the musical with a fabulous creative team including Clare Prenton as Director, Jon Beales as Musical Director, Savannah Stevenson as Charlotte, Sandy Batchelor as Jerry, Matthew McKenna as Elliot, Sam Willison as Dr Jaquith, Kirsty Malone as Deb and Hannah Buyers as June.

This is phase 1 of development and production is aimed for 2024.
