Mentoring

What we offer

Our mentoring schemes are for those who are interested in or want more experience in working with and for disabled people. We offer opportunities in our drama/screen classes and also within our community production. See below for more details.

We believe that mentoring is about ensuring that the next generation are upskilled to change the future! It’s a chance to learn by doing, asking questions, making mistakes and figuring things out together with someone experienced by your side.

At Cutting Edge Theatre, our mentors work with you in workshops, rehearsal spaces and on productions, sharing skills, confidence and ideas as things happen. It’s collaborative, practical and shaped around what you want to learn.

Inclusion, respect and care are at the heart of our mentoring. You will learn alongside learning/disabled artists and participants by working alongside them with support that’s shaped around real people, real needs and real work, and usually a lot of laughter along the way!
