INSPIRE is the term for our work in the disability sector and is part of our “ladder strategy” to ensure equal access for all in the performing arts.
All workshops provided are free thanks to our funders.
Book in to our classes via the sign up forms below.
Physical sessions are held in Edinburgh or Fife ( full location details available on forms) and premises are fully accessible.
Please note all our sessions are for those who identify as disabled/learning disabled.
The Programme:
4 Streams
Inspire Fife
INSPIRE Fife has been running since 2012 and is our flagship group of 30 disabled adults who all love drama. Over the years they have enjoyed creating together, going on theatre trips, producing two talent contests and in 2022 staged their very first production of "The Enchanted Forest" - view photos under Past Productions here.
DUNFERMLINE
Groups take place on Wednesday 10am - 12pm, 12 - 2pm and 2 - 4pm at The Vine Church, Dunfermline. We currently have availability in the 10am-12pm class. Our other two classes are currently full.

Young Company
This is a three year training programme with the first pilot year funded by Creative Scotland where the participants will learn skills in acting, movement, music, singing and acting for camera.

Young Company - Aberdeen
Register your interest in our new Young Company project in Aberdeen.
Classes will take place on Fridays, 4pm - 6pm - Gerrard Street Baptist Church

Youth Theatre
This is a workshop for young learning disabled participants aged 13 - 17. In the Youth Theatre class we focus on building confidence, communication and community through drama projects such as devising, text work and movement.
Classes run on Tuesday evenings 6:30pm - 8:30pm.

Intermediate Group
For those who want to train professionally in the performing arts.
This is a new Intermediate group who will learn Acting, Voice, Movement, Acting for Camera at a more advanced level.
Previous experience of performing/training is required for this group.
Classes on Monday evenings 6:30pm - 8:30pm.
