In 2010, the Company visited Malawi, working with local NGO’s and volunteers, teaching local people who work with children how to use drama to help their young people. We taught principles of child development and drama techniques in the mornings and in the afternoons visited their homes and orphanages, where the Teachers put into practice what they had learnt in the morning.

Cutting Edge Theatre believes in empowering other people and helping them to be able to achieve their dreams, encouraging people to realise their own potential – whatever that might be.

This was a very successful programme and we published a Handbook which is available as a resource for anyone teaching young people especially overseas in disadvantaged situations.
