The Enchanted Forest took place at the Glen Pavilion at the end of June to a sold out audience. A huge achievement for everyone.

Directed by Suzanne Lofthus, working with Associate Artist Nick Kidd and puppeteer Elspeth Chapman. “The Enchanted Forest” tells the story of Jack who goes on a journey through an enchanted wood. He meets Stephanie and the pair meet a gutsy Princess, a hero who is struggling and the wicked “witch” who is out to destroy them by any means. Love, truth and strength are tested and ultimately, acceptance and love win the day!

The story was devised with the participants of INSPIRE Fife and based on their lived experience of disability and their own hopes and dreams for their lives.

We were delighted to be able to produce it in 2022. Inspire Fife consists of 2 adult groups meeting on Wednesday afternoons and is part of our Inspire work – check it out here.
